Programs Manager

The American Library in Paris seeks a new programs manager to oversee all aspects of the Library’s public events. The position entails booking authors and other speakers, planning, publicizing, and overseeing events and coordinating the Library’s book groups.

A background in and a passion for books and the literary scene; strong spoken and written skills; ability to handle a multifarious workload; and a record of working closely with colleagues and easily with the public are all essential. The position is half-time and the salary is modest. References will be requested. We are looking to fill the position immediately.
