Recommended Reading

The Library staff has lots of ideas to help you find books and authors that are of interest to you, including award winners, theme-based reading, and our own picks, oftentimes displayed throughout the Library. There's always something inspiring to read. Here's a selection of books written by refugees who came to the United States and contributed greatly to the literary landscape with their stories. This was inspired by a recent article in The New York Times that listed 25 great books written by refugees.
