Tioka Tokedira is a regional advisor for the Society of Children's Books Writers & Illustrators - Paris , an international association that serves as the liaison between writers and the publising industry. She also works as an acquisitions reader for the French publisher La Martinière Jeunesse. Her first novel for young adults is making its way through the slush piles of New York.
