In the Children's Room: Throughout the afternoon, drop in and meet Celeste Rhoads our dynamic youth librarian in the new Children's Room. Discover the world of books, DVDs and programs available for kids and teens.
In the Teen Mezzanine: "Slices of Poetry" with Jennifer Huxta 15h30 - 16h30 (ages 8-12)
Following a series of spontaneous writing prompts based on your picture, you'll write large on big pieces of paper with colored pens and markers, highlighting certain words and obscure others by painting on and around them. Cut out the best parts and collage them onto a new piece of paper, then paint again and collage new elements into the final piece. Bring your creativity for this engaging activity!
