beyondthebacIf you’ve ever wondered about how higher education is organized in France, or if you’re considering pursuing higher education here, this panel presentation by authors of the AAWE publication, Beyond the Bac – Higher Education in France and Abroad, will elucidate and demystify this complex subject.  

Speakers, Fred Weissler, professor of mathematics at Université Paris 13; Elyse Michaels- Berger, certified coach and former Academic Director of the HEC MBA Program; and Sallie Chaballier, co-chair of the FAWCO education task force and AAWE coordinator of Paris College Day, will explain the structure and characteristic features of the French higher education system, shed light on recent reforms, and present some of the unique learning opportunities available in France.

The American Library in Paris is a focal point for exceptional programs and performances designed to inspire, inform and enrich the community. These programs which are free and open to the public are presented @The Library in conjunction with community organizations such as AAWE.
