Description

Don’t know much about Martin Luther King, Jr., Rosa Parks or that thing called the Emancipation Proclamation? In honor of Black History Month, join us for some great stories including Boycott Blues by Andrea Davis Pinkney about important Americans, a trivia quiz all about civil rights and some general fun as we get to know a little more about this important topic.

Most Saturday programs are drop-in and do not require registration. However, for certain special programs, events and parties, sign-up is required as space is limited. Please consult individual listings for details. In an effort to provide a library environment that allows all patrons to use library materials and resources in a safe, relaxed manner, help us make sure your child's visit to the Library is a safe and happy one. Please review our Unattended Children Policy. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Children attending must have their own library card, or be covered by a family membership. Unless otherwise stated, all programs are free for Library members and 10€ for non-members. For more information on Library memberships, visit our Become a Member page.
