Samantha Gardner is the Library's Development Manager, supporting the library in fundraising activity, campaigns, events and development strategy.

Sam worked for the Woodland Trust (the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity) for two years managing regional fundraising within eight UK counties. Prior to this, Sam worked for four years for a major UK funder as a Project Manager assessing funding applications, managing and supporting a portfolio of 120 projects.

Sam gained a BSc. Hons Degree in Environmental Management from the University of the West of England in Bristol. At the beginning of her career, she worked for the Environment Agency and for a global chemicals company implementing an Environmental Management System.
