Library members are invited to join crisis counselor Keri Hicks for a talk on helping children cope with terror and anxiety. Keri will outline the basics for managing discussions with your children about recent events in Paris. The program will also address how to talk about violence and terror in general and will cover warning signs of stress and anxiety.

About Keri Hicks:

Keri Hicks, LMSW, is a licensed social worker, behavioral specialist, and crisis counselor.  Her practice focuses on families and children, and the very complicated task of parenting.  After more than 10 years in the mental health field in New York City, Keri moved to Paris where she offers consultation to parents, family and child therapy, and parenting workshops.

Limited space is available for this discussion group, so please send an email to our children's and young adults' services manager, Celeste Rhoads, to reserve a spot: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
