Once the exam questions are announced, usually around June, all books from our collection that pertain to the exam subjects (for example, everything on Chaucer's Canterbury Tales or all our resources on "organized crime in the U.S.") are placed on reserve on special shelves. Dossiers of critical articles are then compiled from the Library's periodical collection, including literary criticism, historical surveys, articles of general interest, and topical news stories. These resources are invaluable to not only the students, but for teachers developing their course plans as well. For more information contact the Reference Librarian. The books and articles available for this year's program are listed below. Dossiers from previous years are available for consultation at the Library.
Please note that for the current year's CAPES/Agrégation Program materials, there is a shorter borrowing period of 7 days instead of 3 weeks with a limit of 2 items on the same topic. This enables the largest number of students access to the materials.
