Description

bw_a4_poster_type_2a-webA new phenomenon is sweeping the indie film world: the web series.  Inexpensive to produce, easy to distribute, and able to cross borders,  a web series is quickly replacing the short film as a way for  filmmakers to showcase their talent.

bwpv_2010_03_27_007webWeb series creator Alexis Niki will share the story behind the story—the making of Bitchy Witchy, scheduled to be released in October. Find out why she decided to make a web series and how she chose to set it in Paris.

Learn how a newspaper article led to a story about a menopausal mom and her two hormonal daughters, how the team came together, and how to barter for such prime locations as a Parisian café, a church, a péniche, and the American Library! The talk will be illustrated with video clips from the series.
