Description
A new phenomenon is sweeping the indie film world: the web series. Inexpensive to produce, easy to distribute, and able to cross borders, a web series is quickly replacing the short film as a way for filmmakers to showcase their talent.
Web series creator Alexis Niki will share the story behind the story—the making of Bitchy Witchy, scheduled to be released in October. Find out why she decided to make a web series and how she chose to set it in Paris.
Learn how a newspaper article led to a story about a menopausal mom and her two hormonal daughters, how the team came together, and how to barter for such prime locations as a Parisian café, a church, a péniche, and the American Library! The talk will be illustrated with video clips from the series.
