Description

Many countries around the world who are still reeling from the effects of the financial crisis of 2008, have decided to turn their focus from the economy elsewhere.  In Europe, in particular, passionate debates on nationalism have sprung, from the Schengen free movement policy being put at risk to France banning the burka. Europe is at a crossroads, placing it cultural values into question.

Cultural interfaces and interactions are increasing exponentially, creating either major potential clashes or major potential opportunities on which to leverage – all depending on how and whether cultural interfacing is managed. In this day and age of globalization, we should not feel threatened by different cultures, instead they should be embraced. Different cultures are the one thing which we all have in common. Diversity is a part of the equation, not a part from it.
