Description
Teen Bookworms returns this November with a session based on Oscar Wilde’s fairy tales. Join us as we discover and discuss some beautiful stories by this classic author.
For our first session, on 19 November, we are pleased to host actor Peter Vickers for a special performance of one of Oscar Wilde’s most famous fairy tales. Parents are welcome to attend the performance. Participants may pick up their books at this session. We will then meet the following week to discuss the stories and do some related activities.
How does it work? Each person who signs up to participate will be ordered a copy of Oscar Wilde’s fairy tales. A certain number of pages will be assigned so that when we meet in a group the following week we can discuss the stories in depth and do some fun creative writing of our own.
November 19th and November 26th. Each participant must pay 5€ to cover the cost of the book which will then be yours to take home and keep. Registration is required for this activity as space is limited. To reserve a spot, email the youth librarian: or call the Library at 01 53 59 12 60.
Participation is free for library members and 10€ per session for non-members. For more information on Library memberships, visit our Become a Member page.
